Suz Pontillo (she/they/ella) is a theatre maker from Miami, Florida. They currently reside in London, UK.

Their directorial debut was with Boston Playwright’s Theatre in 2018 when they directed the short play, Where the Fireworks Come From by Michael Pisaturo. Since then, she has had the opportunity to direct for Seattle-based theatre companies such as Washington Ensemble Theatre, Dacha Theatre, Annex Theatre, and The 14/48 Projects.

Suz has performed in Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, Orlando, New York City in a variety of roles and mediums — sketch, improv, musical theatre, immersive theatre, straight plays, drunk Shakespeare, workshops, and more.

In her short time in London, she has worked with the Drayton Arms Theatre to produce an original show that she co-wrote, is producing the 14/48 Festival in London, and will be participating in the upcoming Voidspace Live festival at Theatre Deli.

Outside of being an artist, Suz has experience in arts administration supporting Washington Ensemble Theatre as the Director of Artistic Experience (2024-2025) and Company Manager (2022-2024). She even co-owned her own theatre company from 2022-2024 called Queen City Theatre that produced original work and hosted musical cabarets in Seattle, WA.
